We are kicking off Sacramento Beer Week a little early by releasing two special beers created just for Beer Week. The first one is a Mandarin White IPA collaboration with the Placer Ultimate Brewing Society (PUBS). This wheat inda pale ale with fresh mandrain juice added, checks in at 7% ABV and 50 IBU. It get it's crisp citrus flavors from both the local mandrain juice and the Mandarina hop. The second beer is an old Sacramento Brewing Company recipe by Peter Hoey that won bronze at the GABF in 2008. We recreated the "Abbey Extra" for a Beer Week event later in the week, but you can try this Belgian inspired Abbey ale early. It's light and refreshing with notes of clover and spice checking in at 5.9% ABV and 23 IBU.
