Yea, we know it's almost beer week...but beer is good EVERY WEEK right? Join us this Friday to taste our collaboration creation! Our very own Julien, and Pete from Bike Dog created TANTAMOUNT, a Dry Hopped Tart Saison.
This beer was kettle-soured and then copiously hopped with Citra and Amarillo Hops before being fermented with our Farmhouse yeast. More Citra and a touch of Mosaic hops were then added post-fermentation. The result is a crisp, citrusy and tart Saison perfect for this early Spring weather!
It's Nacho Truck will be here from 5:30-7:30 with some amazingly creative Nachos. Perfect pair to this Saison!
Did you know there are TWO versions of Tantamount? Both breweries started with the same wort (base beer) but Bike Dog and ourselves used different saison yeast strains and dry-hopping hops. We dry-hopped with Citra and Mosiac, and Bike Dog dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria and Cascade. Grab a growler of both (one here, and one at Bike Dog) and try them side by side to see how different they turned out! Exciting, right?
